So, you've got about a week to get the rest/all of your holiday shopping done. Piece o' cake. Our handy gift guide will help you find something for everyone on your list, starting with the Fitness Fanatics and Savvy Travelers on your list.
The Fitness Fanatic
This one is a no-brainer. Go with the Cartwheel. With its ventilated compartment for shoes or soiled clothes, and all its organizational features, like the handy ring holder, this bag is the ideal gym companion. Done and done.
The Savvy Traveler
Now, this one is a bit tougher because there are just so many options. I mean, if this traveler needs a bigger bag, you could go with the Porter Roller Bag or the Shuttle Bus Wheelie. But if a smart carry-on is what you're looking for, it's hard to beat the new Sprout Carry-All or the old favorite, the Puddle Jumper. And then for accessories, there's always the toiletry tamers—Flip-Top and Two-Step—and the creature comforts, like the Nap Sac or adorable Undercover Bears. With so many great options, it's hard to go wrong.

What's in Your Bag?
1. My computer. I rarely leave home without it.
2. Because of #1, I've also got my computer cord and a random assortment of other computer accessories, like a flash drive, earbuds, usb cord, etc.
3. My notebook. I am a writer, after all.
4. Snacks. Girl's gotta eat.
5. Napkins. Does anyone else stuff the extra napkins you get at restaurants into your bag? Picked that habit up from my great grandmother.
6. Five lip glosses and a ChapStick. I'm addicted.
7. Cell phone. You know, when it's not in my hand.
8. Wallet & keys.
9. Sunscreen and sunglasses. (That sun sure shines bright deep in the heart of Texas.)
10. Book. (Currently David McCullough's The Greater Journey: Americans in Paris)
11. A couple of pencils and pens.
12. A random card from my mom. (Gotta love that.)
13. A watch that no longer works and a necklace that never made it back to the jewelry box.
14. A couple of random hair clips, spare change, and crumpled up receipts/grocery lists/coupons.
That's about it at the moment. So, whatcha got in your bag? Send me a picture and a list at katie@luglife.com, and I may choose you for my next "What's in Your Bag?" feature!

Lug Love Meets True Love
This video makes all of our hearts here at Lug do a little flutter, and not just because the "female lead" is a woman from Canada or the "male lead" is an American named Jason or the fact that they are in Austin or even that she is traveling with her Puddle Jumper and Tango Travel Wallet (okay, maybe it's a little of all that). We love it simply because, well, we love LOVE! ... Spoiler alert: She said YES!We love getting videos from our fans. Keep 'em coming, and maybe one day we'll post yours on our blog.

Lug + YouTube Videos = Cinematic Gold
This morning's announcement of the 2011 Oscar nominees got me thinking about the movies, which got me thinking that I definitely need to make more trips to the theater, which made me think, "nah, I really like watching movies at home," which made me think "maybe I can watch some things on my computer," which eventually led me to YouTube and a search for Lug videos (like this awesome one I told you about a couple of posts ago). And look what I found! A Lug station with nine videos. If you've ever been sitting at home, looking through the Lug catalog at, say, a Snuz Sac, and thinking, "Man, I wish I could see that Snuz Sac on video," well, now you can! Check out our videos on the Puddle Jumper, Shuttle Bus, Taxi, Cabby, Flatbed, Nap Sac, and Snuz Sac.

Thanksgiving Travel Tips ... Be Stress Free!
Holiday travel can be stressful. Okay, sure, that could have probably gone unsaid. I mean, with tens of millions planning to hit the road next week for Thanksgiving, there's bound to be plenty of stress to go around. But I've always believed that one key to being stress free is preparation. (See that woman in the picture over there to the left? She prepared.) So, I've scoured the web to find some sites with varied travel tips: First, here are some air travel tips. And here's a whole site dedicated to traveling with kids. Here are some driving tips. And for good measure, here are some tips for those who are stressed just from the thought of holiday travel and have convinced loved ones to travel to them. Of course, the biggest preparation tip of all is to carry smart bags and travel accessories. Pack a Puddle Jumper for an overnight trip or opt for a Shuttle Bus for the weekend. Or there's always the Tuk Tuk or the Taxi or the Moped or ... Well. You get the picture. There's a Lug bag for every possible pilgrimage, plus accessories (like a Nap Sac or a Flatbed or a Tango ...) to ease any travel stresses.
So, be prepared, and you can be just like the woman in the picture. Or at least a little more carefree.

Lug Love Galore!
We're happy to announce lots of Lug love across the inter-webs today. First up is Blisstree's list of gym bags that don't suck, in which the fabulous Puddle Jumper is featured. "If you're stuck carrying a bunch of gear, Lug's Puddle Jumper bag can stand up to the task. ... Plus, it's big enough to use for weekend trips. That's a lot of bang for your buck."
Thanks, Blisstree! We agree!
Second is a little love from L.A. Parent, just in time for the cooler fall weather. They've featured our cuddly Undercover Bears, saying "we're ready to hibernate now!"
Of course, with an Undercover Bear by your side, you're always at the ready for a cozy, comfortable snooze!
We love the love!

The Puddle Jumper: It's Gym Rat-tastic!

That's right. If you're in the market for a great gym bag or a tote to throw your sports gear in, the Puddle Jumper is a perfect fit. First, the size is just right. Not to big and not too small, it'll squeeze into a gym locker but it still has plenty of space for all the essentials, including a change of clothes. Second, there's this smart little ventilated compartment in the back, which stashes shoes or soiled clothes separately from the rest of the stuff in your bag. Third, it's made with water repellant fabric that keeps it looking like new. All in all, this bag is ... well, it's gym rat-tastic!

Color Theory Thursday: Ravishing Red

If you love Lug, you know we like to "live life in color," and we hope you do too. Color Theory Thursday is where we learn what that hue says about you.
RED
The color of love, passion, strength, and prosperity. It's not a color for wallflowers, that's for sure. It's a bold color, meant to stand out in a crowd. Wear it with pink (pictured) or yellow if it's harmony you're after, or pair it with cool colors, like blue or green, for contrast.
