With
the winter weather fully behind us, summer and its warmth are in sight. Time to
re-evaluate our closets, pull on some brighter pieces, and add some fun back
into our wardrobes. Here at Lug® our color of the month is Sunset
Orange, so let's start there! We are thrilled about the impending season and
this sprightly hue. What color says summer more than orange?
Sunshine,
bonfires, and popsicles are what come to mind! Orange expresses energy, exudes
warmth, enthusiasm and excitement. It is no coincidence that variations of this
color have been popping up in trends - both on the runway and in the home - for
the last few seasons. Nectarine (PANTONE® 16 – 1360 TCX), which
is a sister hue to Lug®’s Sunset Orange, has been chosen as …drum roll
please...one of the top ten colors for Spring/Summer 2013!
Orange
and Lug® are synonymous. This color is featured not only in our Logo, website
and catalogs, but it is also exhibited on accent walls throughout our office!
We feel quite comfortable with this daring hue, but we also understand the
apprehension that comes along with it. Try pairing Orange with neutrals like
Grey, Navy & White. These anchor colors provide balance and allow the accent
to take center stage.

offers a variety of options to help you navigate the waters of Sunset Orange.
Some might prefer to start small and incorporate accessories like the Clipper
