Oprah.com Likes the Cartwheel, You'll Like 20% Off!

Check it out, y'all! We're on Oprah.com this month! The folks in O's fashion department love the Lug Cartwheel Fitness/Overnight Bag so much, they've included it in their Mother's Day product roundup. That's great news for us! Now, for some great news for you: We're offering 20% off the Cartwheel! Just use coupon code OPRAH at checkout on www.luglife.com, and you've got your Mother's Day gift in the bag! (Well, it's the actual bag. ... Oh, you know what we mean!)

Twelve Days Till Mother's Day!

It's the first day of May, and that means you've got 12 days to come up with the perfect gift to show your appreciation for all the things, great and small, your dearest mother does for you. But let's get real. It'll only take you a second to find the perfect gift (like the NEW Windjammer) here (or better yet, go find something at your local Lug retailer).

Now, that homemade card with original work of poetry sure to tug at the old heart strings ... well, that's another story.

It's All Fun and Games ...

Until someone gets their office supplies wrapped in Rice Krispies treats! Pranks have be big in our office lately, and we just had to share this one with you. Poor Laura showed up one morning to find all her desk contents wrapped in Rice Krispies treats. Classic. Luckily she's a good sport.

And check out this video of Ken on his "tricked out" scooter. He came back from a long trip to find his scooter adorned with ribbons and a bow. Only thing is, he REALLY liked his newly dressed up scooter.

We love pranks in our office. Do you? Tell us about some of the best pranks you've pulled.

Lug's Easter Egg-stravaganza!

We had so much fun at our second annual Lug Easter Egg hunt, I just had to share some highlights and lots of fun pics! The team got 20 minutes to search the warehouse and collect prize eggs filled with candy, cash, and tickets for the live raffle we hosted (See the pic with all the winners—it's the one that Brooklyn, the Lug mascot, is photo bombing. Isn't she the cutest?). Then we hosted a "Pot Lug Lunch," and everyone brought a homemade creation to share. De-licious! We hope your Easter was just as fun as ours! (Love the Lug cookies made by Kanae! Tasty and cute!)

Lug Flies High with Winnipeg Dreams Take Flight!

We just got the news, and we are so excited to share it! We are a GO for the Winnipeg Dreams Take Flight project that provides a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for physically, mentally, or socially challenged kids to "be a kid for a day" at the happiest place on earth—Disney World! (You all know how Disney holds a special place in our heart.) We are so excited to be able to send a representative from Lug to document this marathon day of fun, and we will definitely be posting pics and stories after the trip, which is scheduled for April 25, 2012. Country Singer Stacey McKitrick Stops by Lug

The beautiful and talented B.C.-based country music singer Stacey McKitrick stopped by the Lug offices during Canadian Music Week, and LOVED our Lug bags! Looks like we've got another Lug Nut on our hands!

Lug Does SXSW ... And LOVES It!

We had a great time at Austin's annual music, film, and interactive conference, South by Southwest, and we've got the photographic evidence to prove it. We heard lots of interesting speakers, cruised the trade show, and, as you can see, had a great time crashing the photo booth. Hope you like the pics as much as we clearly enjoyed taking them!
