Happy Easter, Y'all!

We hope you all have a happy, hippity-hoppity Easter! Speaking of hippity-hoppity ... have you put in a good word with the Easter bunny? We hope so, and we hope he (the Easter bunny is a he, right?) leaves you lots of candy eggs and chocolate bunnies and those wax bottles filled with syrup—those are a personal Easter fave. And why not put all those Easter treats is a brand new, brightly colored Lug bag rather than a traditional Easter basket? Here are a few good picks:

Happy World Poetry Day!

That's right, y'all. It's World Poetry Day, a day to celebrate and promote the reading, writing, and teaching of poetry. Because it's World Poetry Day, I though I'd write a little poem. And being that the motto here at Lug is "live life in color," I thought I'd write about my favorite color.

So, here goes:

Marigold yellow
rays of sunshine
sand beneath my toes
ripe, juicy mango
a fire crackling
a rocket ship taking off
fireworks bursting in the night sky
a bite of pineapple from my pina colada
a lemon meringue pie
a rich banana split
heat
heat
heat
Yellow can brighten your day

Full disclosure: I had a little help from this "Color My World Poem" generator. We'd love to hear your "Color My World Poem." Go here to make your own, and please share!

Happy St. Patty's Day!

You got your green ready to go? If not, we can certainly help. Here's my list of St. Patty's Day must-haves from Lug:

First, plan ahead and pack that overnight bag. Your morning "fun run" may lead to a couple of green beers at a St. Patty's Day parade, which may lead to a pub dinner of corned beef or Irish strew, which may lead to a nap (you know a couple of beers and a fully belly is just asking for one, right?), so you want to be ready wherever you are. Our new Paddle Boat is perfect for an impromptu slumber party.

St. Patty's Day means green everything—green clothes, green eggs and ham, and lets not forget the green beer. While tasty, it can be a mess. That's why you'll need a toothbrush. Pack one in your trusty Flip Top Toiletry Case, and you'll not be plagued with green teeth all day.

And finally, you'll need a slim little bag to keep those essentials close at hand while you're braving the crowds at your St. Patty's Day events. That's where our Compass Should Pouch comes in. It's the perfect size to pack away your keys, phone, and a little cash.

Happy St. Patrick's Day, everyone!

Spring Break: Got Your Bag Packed?

Spring break is upon us. Are you taking your Lug somewhere fun? A soft-sand beach, perhaps? This bag is great for that, especially when you slide your towel through the front flap. Or maybe you're hitting the slopes. This one is perfect to pack a lunch and some skiing essentials.

We'd love to hear all about your trip and, especially, which Lug bag helps make your spring break great!

Lug Fitbit Challenge Update: Kanae Kills It!

Remember when we told you about our Fitbit Challenge here? Well, we have a winner, and her name is Kanae (pictured above)! With an amazing, astronomical, very, very big final step count of 289,569, Kanae ... well, she kicked butt. That's an average of 10,342 steps per day! I'm tired just reading that. She will be awarded with the new office chair of her choosing. And when told of her victory, she had this to say, in hilariously awesome fashion:

I'd like to thank Vana for giving me the spot although she had over 300,000 steps in Feb! (Madness!)

I'd like to thank my parents for giving me these short legs that I was able to get more steps than others! (Yay for being short) ... and also my poor driving skill that makes me take the public transit everyday.

I'd also like to thank my little kittens, Leon and Moose for waking me up in the middle of the night and forcing me to chase them. (More steps!)

And last but not least, I'd like to thank my volleyball team for letting me play the game like this. (Picture drawn by on of my teammates the other day.)

Way to go, Kanae!
